An opinion opener is an indirect opener that asks a group for a take ("who lies more, men or women?") so you are not "hitting on them yet." It is the signature Mystery-era club open.[1][2]
This wiki's default, once the student can say hello, is direct game. Opinion openers remain a nightclub tool for mixed sets and loud rooms.
