Instinct on later pickup is not magic. It is pattern recognition after enough reps that you stop narrating. Chase/staff: long-time players react without a committee. Newbies do not have that gut yet; they have anxiety wearing a costume called intuition.[1]
Method
- Do the volume first. Instinct is a product.
- In set, prefer the fast read (calibrate) over the inner trial.
- After, check the gut against results. A gut that never approaches is fear.
Failure mode
Skipping the assignment because 'I go with my gut' — and the gut always says stay home.
