Hoop theory is pickup slang for who is jumping through whose hoops. If you are always explaining, fetching, proving, you are in her frame. If she is telling stories to impress you, she is qualifying herself.[1]
In practice: this is frame plus standards. It is not a party trick of making people do dumb asks. Cheap compliance tests ('hold this') are a yes-ladder, not a personality.
