| Origin | Writing advice borrowed by pickup; pickup usage |

Show, don't tell is the writing rule pickup stole: a DHV you live is better than a DHV you announce. Later pickup would rather she see the friends, the body, the calm than hear the speech.[1][2]
Method
- Let logistics, posture, and other people do the bragging.
- If you must tell, one concrete, then move. No stack.
- Preselection is shown. 'I have options' as a sentence is tryhard.
Failure mode
A three-minute value monologue. She hears hunger.
