A shit test is a challenge — usually verbal, often playful, sometimes hostile — that checks whether your frame holds. Classic shapes: "Do you say that to every girl?", "You're just trying to pick us up," "You're too short / old / cocky." [1][2] The pickup claim is that the content of the test is not the point. She is sampling for neediness, anger, or collapse. The usual answers taught in the community:

  • Agree and amplify ("Yeah, it's a public service").
  • Reframe ("That's the first thing you say to anyone who talks to you?").
  • Ignore the hook and continue your thread.
  • Own the accusation ("Of course I like sex. You're not a nun either.").

Pressing a courtroom defense is the beginner fail. So is punishing her for testing.

Wingman's "Passing Shit Tests" quiz is built on that diagnosis: recognize, don't plead, flip the power without getting mean.
