The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists (2005) is the book that made the seduction community a public story. Strauss writes as "Style," student of Mystery. It is the source civilians mean when they say "PUA."[1][2]
Use it as history and ethnography. Do not use it as a 2020s how-to; the club-routine layer is dated, the anxiety and social-proof observations are not.
