Roosh V (Daryush Valizadeh) is an American writer who self-published pickup travelogues, notably Bang and Day Bang, then became a political blogger. Wikipedia and the Southern Poverty Law Center treat the later political work as part of the manosphere; this wiki keeps him in-scope only as pickup history and contrast, not as a political project.[1][2]
In 2019 he publicly recanted aspects of the pickup persona and described a conversion to Orthodox Christianity. Technique leads on this wiki never follow Bang. Enthusiastic consent is house rule. Criticism of the books as callous or worse is on the public record; this page does not reprint how-to from them.
