Shoot first is Chase's advice to men who default to caution: act, then read. Hypotheticals in the bedroom do not settle. A later essay: five minutes in the field beats a lifetime of what-ifs.[1]
Method
- When you notice her, walk. Do not run a three-minute inner trial.
- After the open, calibrate. Shoot-first is not shoot-forever.
- Log the result, not the fantasy. See results vs reactions.
Failure mode
Using shoot-first as a reason to skip reading her. That is not Chase. That is noise.
