The 7-hour rule is Mystery-era folklore: from first meeting to sex in about seven hours of elapsed time, usually across venues. Journalist Gene Weingarten described a Mystery Method Corp seminar in those terms.[1]
It is a marketing number, not a law. This wiki does not run a clock. Logistics and consent do the actual work.
