Closing is asking for the next thing: a number, an instant date, a kiss, a bounce. Girls Chase's line is that it does not matter how much she likes you if you never close. The Newbie assignment day 14 is the beginner form: ask four women out, take the number if yes.
Closing is game, not a fundamental. Fundamentals make the ask cheaper. They do not replace it.
