Assume attraction is Chase Amante's stance: walk up as if there is already something to test, not as if you are applying for a job. Girls Chase essay, March 2014. It is a starting bet, not a trance.[1][2]
Method
- Open as if she might already like the look of you. Direct game fits this.
- Watch. If she is cold, calibrate — do not assume so hard you miss a no.
- Do not wait for an engraved IOI before you speak. The Newbie assignment does not.
Failure mode
Assuming so hard you ignore a freeze. Or the counterfeit: saying it while your face begs.
