Attractiveness fundamentals are the passive but adjustable qualities that make a man more attractive by being around him, as opposed to game, the active work of opening, teasing, leading, and escalating.[1] The split exists to stop "fundamentals" meaning everything (opening fundamentals, nightgame fundamentals, and so on).

A common claim is that the stronger the fundamentals, the less game you need, and the reverse. The easiest path is both. Looks and status matter; they are not the whole art. Unchangeable appearance (height, bone) belongs on the sister encyclopedia looksmaxxing.wiki. Changeable appearance is fundamentals here.

History

Mystery-era club game assumed a body that could already hold a room, then stacked routines on top. 2010s writing named the missing layer: what she feels before you speak — posture, voice, fashion, social ease — as a training category of its own, not as "inner game" poetry and not as surgery. The listing below is the usual four-way split from that decade's coaching jargon, not a law of nature. Rival taxonomies (health vs status; "ugly hot" as high status / weak health) are competing frames.

The four categories

Body

Posture, mannerisms, movement (speed and fluidity), walk, eye contact, smile, facial expressions, teeth, physique. Beginner on-ramps usually start here: chest up, head high, eyes that hold, a walk that is not a scurry.

Vocal

Tone, inflection, depth, resonance, formants, affected boredom, colorful vocabulary, vocal uniqueness, a hint of accent. A slow voice is a fundamental. A fast apology-voice is a leak.

Social

Sprezzatura / the Law of least effort, smooth conversation, humor, social awareness, "normality" (no off-putting quirks), social momentum, reputation inside a circle. This is not game (you are not opening a stranger). It is how you occupy a room you are already in.

Fashion

Fit, interesting items and accessories, color coordination, interesting vs loud outfits, peacocking, hair, facial hair, congruence with an identity. Loud peacocking without a self is costume. Fit and one interesting item beat a themed hat.

What is not a fundamental

A common listing carves out three piles:

  • Unchangeable passives — height, bone structure, a required uniform, a rank in a hierarchy. Those affect attraction; they are not "fundamentals" in this sense because you cannot train them the same way.
  • Game — approaching, opening, teasing, cold reads, leading, compliance, rapport, frames, escalation, resistance-handling.
  • Vibe — treated as an output of fundamentals + game + inner frame, not a fourth training category.

Method

  1. Pick one body item this week (posture, walk, or eye contact) and one fashion or vocal item. Volume of approaches still happens; fundamentals are trained in the same venues, not instead of them.
  2. Film a walk. Most leaks are visible in ten seconds of gait and face.
  3. Do not wait to be "handsome enough" to start talking to people. Fundamentals and game rise together. Waiting is one-itis aimed at the mirror.

Failure mode

Calling everything a fundamental so nothing is trainable. Or the reverse: refusing to lift, dress, or speak because "game covers it." Game covers a lot. It does not cover a collapsed chest and a voice that begs.
