Implied sexuality > overt is iceberg shorthand: better a sexual frame she can feel than a crude announcement. House reading: sexualization early enough to opt out, not a dirty joke dumped on a stranger. Implied is still intent. It is not plausible deniability for a grope.[1][2][3]
Method
- Eyes, pace, a remark that is not buddy-talk.
- Kino that matches. If she stiffens, stop that beat.
- Overt can work when the frame is already sexual. Starting overt on a cold open is usually calibration failure, not bravery.
Failure mode
So implied she never knows you're interested — friend zone. Or so overt she has to manage you.
