Number farming is stacking number closes that never become Day 2s. The count goes up; the calendar stays empty. Later pickup literature treats a number as a maybe. Instant date or a same-day coffee is the adult version.[1]
Method
Take the number only with a next beat attached:
- Same-day: turn it into an instant date or a locked hour. Do not collect and hope.
- Day 2: time and place before you leave. "I'll text you" with no when is farming.
- Text as logistics, not as a second courtship. Later pickup would rather you be in person.
Volume still matters. Farmed digits that never become dates are a fake volume. Mystery-era students farmed numbers as homework. Later writers wants volume that includes leaving with a plan.
