IOI scanning is watching for IOIs before you move. Useful as calibration. Poison as a religion: you never open without a green light. Later pickup: assume attraction and walk; the assignment does not wait for a stare.[1][2]
Method
- Notice eyes, orientation, a laugh thrown your way. Take those.
- Open anyway on volume days. Scanning is extra, not a gate.
- After, compare scan to result. A 'hot IOI' that never becomes a conversation was you stalling.
Failure mode
Standing still for an hour collecting IOIs. That is fear with a clipboard.
