Certainty in later pickup 'appear certain' essays is this: she follows a man who looks like he knows the next beat. You will not always know. Appear sure, lead, then calibrate. A sloppy victory beats a refined freeze.[1][2]
Method
- Pick a next beat and move as if it were obvious.
- If you are guessing, guess with your body anyway, then read her.
- Do not narrate your uncertainty ('I don't know, whatever you want').
Failure mode
