A smile

A smile is a body fundamental in the later pickup schools: whether it happens, whether it reaches the eyes, and whether it is timed. Chase lists it next to eye contact and facial expressions. A clamped fake smile is the steadiness check problem in miniature. A missing smile on the open is free tension you did not mean to buy. The Newbie assignment does not have a "smile day" because it is supposed to show up once posture and eyes are not a war. If it does not, that is a calibration note, not a new routine.
