Eye contact is a body fundamental in the Girls Chase / Skilled Seducer school: how you look at people, how long you hold, and whether the look has intent. The Newbie assignment day 3 is nothing but this — hold eyes with ten people, notice down / side / up breaks as submit / neutral / dismiss.

Chase also writes about a sharper tool he has called the "look," the "death stare," or a predatory hold: eye contact that puts sexual tension (or fear, if you bung it) into the other person. Wielded with warmth it raises tension. Wielded without calibration it is creepy-guy land. The assignment installs the ability to hold. The look is a later amplitude.

Mystery-era

ASF counted held eye contact as an approach invitation or IOI. The house school does not wait for an AI before walking up.
