Plowing is continuing the interaction after a stall: a quiet patch, a friend interruption, a lukewarm answer. Girls Chase uses it for not ejecting at the first dip — change topic, move venues, restart the tease — while still hearing a real no.[1]

House split: plowing is calibration plus spine. Neediness is plowing a closed door. Persistence is the broader inner-game name. Approach walls are the social furniture plowing sometimes has to walk around (friends, noise, a boyfriend frame). It is not a license to ignore "I have to go" or a frozen face.
