Tryhard is effort she can see as effort: too many jokes stacked, too fast to the number, too much proving. The community borrowed the insult from general internet use. The term is filed as the same leak under neediness and incongruence: you are working the interaction like a job interview.[1]
In practice: beginners still have to try. The Newbie assignment is deliberate practice. Tryhard is not "you practiced." It is "you needed this one to land." Sprezzatura is the old court-word for hiding the work. Outcome independence is the training.
