Leading is choosing the next beat and moving: a new topic, a new corner of the room, a venue change, the walk to somewhere you can actually talk. It is often filed it under game, not under attractiveness fundamentals. Fundamentals make the open cheaper. Leading finishes the night.[1]

Method

You pick the next beat and you move first:

  1. Have two real options in your pocket (quieter corner, coffee two blocks over, a place you can actually sit). That is logistics before the line.
  2. State the move as a given, not a committee: "We're grabbing a drink next door." Then walk. She can decline. If she does, you still had a plan.
  3. On a street stop, lead to an instant date or lock a Day 2 with a time and place. Do not stand still for twenty minutes hoping she invents the date.

If you wait for her to invent the night, you are in her frame. Calibration sits on top: if she already refused the place, you are not leading — you are ignoring a no.

Other schools

Mystery isolated off the set, then bounced. Same job, club furniture. London daygame leads to a coffee or a Day 2 instead of a three-hour street debate.
