Closing

Handshake (Commons). A close is a next beat, not a trophy.
Field Pickup
Also known as the close

Closing is asking for the next thing: a number, an instant date, a kiss, a bounce. A common line is that it does not matter how much she likes you if you never close. Beginner drills often end here: ask four women out, take the number if yes. [1] Closing is game, not a fundamental. Fundamentals make the ask cheaper. They do not replace it.
